Brandon Ross, known online as Brandon Bachata, is a dynamic Latin dance artist and instructor whose journey started in 2008 while stationed in Baghdad with the US Army. In 2012, he co-founded Sentimiento Dance Company, focusing on traditional bachata and mambo/Salsa on2. He has trained with renowned instructors including Carlos Cinta, Edwin Ferreiras, Farifeo, Frank Mendez, and Franky El Suave, and has taught workshops across the United States and internationally. In 2020, Brandon moved to New York City to perform and teach salsa professionally with Yamuleé Dance Company, and his enduring love for Dominican music, dance, and culture drew him back to bachata, teaching in NYC with his former partner Beverly Lopez. After a recent military deployment, he is back in NYC, continuing to share his passion for bachata and Dominican culture with students around the world.
