About Me

My journey as a dancer started when I was just 10 years old, captivated by the world of dancing through Hip Hop. Those early years made me discover my love for dancing, obsessing over hip hop dance groups like the Jabbawockeez & I aM mE. Hip Hop set up a dancing foundation for me by developing my musicality and rhythm, my ability to move with music and body movement. But it wasn’t until 2019, when I was 21 years old during my time at the University of Waterloo, where I discovered the Latin dance community—and everything changed.

It started with curiosity, but quickly turned into passion. I fell in love with the music, the connection between partners, and the vibrant culture that surrounds Latin dance. The community welcomed me with open arms, and I found something I didn’t know I was missing.

As my love for dance grew, so did my ambition. I became a regular at Toronto socials, constantly learning and evolving. I sought out workshops with world-class artists, eager to soak in every detail. A transformative trip to Spain opened my eyes to new levels of technique, artistry, and teaching styles. I was blown away by the talent and inspired to bring that same energy home.

Now, I’m based in Calgary, and my mission is clear: to elevate the social dance scene here, especially in Bachata. I want to share everything—my roots, my growth, the lessons from around the world—with this city. I believe in building a strong, connected, and passionate community where Bachata can truly thrive.

Let’s make something unforgettable together.
