About Me

Aubrie is a seasoned performer and instructor with two decades of dance experience. She holds a minor in dance performance and is teacher-certified by Amargue Flow. Aubrie teaches beginner salsa classes with an emphasis on the belief that anyone can learn lead and/or follow roles. She fosters a welcoming, inclusive space with the intention of teaching not just foundational building blocks of dance, but also social dance responsibility so that students are educated and empowered. She believes in the importance of understanding and respecting the roots of Afro-Latin dances and endeavors to incorporate historical context into her classes. Currently, Aubrie is Co-Producer of the Fusion Experience Social; is a manager for the El Colmado social and Event Manager for Amargue Flow Bachata Festival; is the Salsa Director & Instructor at Amargue Flow; and is co-owner of DanceFam.
