Celebrate Womens History Month from an Intersectional lens.

6:00p-11:00pm

6:00-7:00p: Dinner and socializing at VV Bar. Enjoy the delicious food & drink that VV BAR has to offer while mingling with the Fusion Experience community!

7:00-8:00pm: Bachata workshop with Desiree Godsell.

8:00-11:00p: Social Dancing- 50/50 salsa & bachata & a sprinkle of other genres. 

+An incredible performance by AND & other local Artists. 

-Fusion Experience is an Afro-Latin Dance social that breaks Gender binaries by providing a safe & comfortable space for the LGBTQ+ community/ Allies to learn Afro-Latin dance and other Art forms.

-Our social provides a workshop, a Latin dance social & education that addresses art beyond movement while hiring artists that care about Intersectionality, safety and diversity within the Art & Movement of dance.

1. ALL STAFF, ATTENDEES, EVERYONE ATTENDING MUST BE RESPECTFUL AND DISPLAY GOOD MANNERS AT ALL TIMES. 2. IF ANY PERSON DECIDES TO DRINK, PLEASE DO SO RESPONSIBLY. ANYONE WHO STUMBLES, LOOKS DRUNK, ACTS DRUNK AND LOSES SPACIAL AWARENESS / DISPLAYS ANY DRUNK OR DISORDERLY BEHAVIOR, WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY. (NO REFUNDS) 3. CONSENT ON AND OFF THE DANCE FLOOR IS KEY. IF AT ANY POINT YOU FEEL UNSAFE OR UNCOMFORTABLE, PLEASE DO STOP THE DANCE AND TELL SOMEONE ON THE SAFETY TEAM ASAP. 4. NO HOMOPHOBIA, SEXISM, RACISM, AGEISM, BULLY BEHAVIOR WILL BE TOLERATED AT THIS SOCIAL. 5.DO NOT TOUCH ANYONE INAPPROPRIATELY OR MAKE INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS.
