Curriculum

6-week progressive Salsa series for those who have never tried Salsa On2, are training & building their foundations, or who want to start learning the opposite role!

Learn fundamentals, salsa history, social dance etiquette, musicality, & more. In our classes we encourage anyone to learn lead and/or follow parts and foster a positive environment where you will gain a foundation in salsa and have fun!

This space is queer, trans & ally-inclusive and designed for beginners or those who want to drill their foundations.

-Intentionally small class sizes so you get individualized feedback.

-Equal attention to both Follow & Lead roles.

-Technique, concept, and context-focused. Not patterns to memorize.

-Gender neutral teaching & body movement.

-Inclusion of salsa history.

Level I : 7:30-8:30p. Absolute beginner. Gain a solid foundation in salsa on2 from the ground up. For those who have never formally learned salsa or salsa on 2. Or for those who are learning the opposite role (lead or follow).

Level II : 8:30-9:30p. For returning students who have taken our Level 1 series or those with beginner salsa experience. Our series are progressive, and Level II is designed to be taken after you’ve completed our Level I series.

Net profits from these series are donated to organizations in PR and/or Cuba.

Sliding scale available. Contact instructor for options.
