Final Performance Spring 2026

The Waack Dancer Training Program (WDTP) is the number one school for waacking, founded by the Queen of Waacking herself, Princess Lockerooo. The program centers technique, musicality, self-expression, and—most importantly—history. Waacking was born in the gay clubs of 1970s Los Angeles, shaped by drag, glamour, and the need for freedom and individuality.

Princess Lockerooo, protégé of waacking pioneer and Soul Train legend Tyrone Proctor, carries that legacy forward. In 2008, Tyrone brought her to The Monster to watch drag shows so she could understand waacking at its roots. Tonight comes full circle—for the first time ever, Waackers are taking the stage at The Monster.

WDTP has trained hundreds of dancers over the past three years, offering a path to perform, grow, and step into the culture with confidence. Tonight’s performances feature original waacking pieces created as part of each dancer’s final grade, alongside drag numbers by second-level students. Drag is a key tool in the program, helping dancers build confidence, presence, and their inner diva.
