Curriculum
Step into the world of New York Style Salsa On2 in a fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly environment. This class is designed for dancers with little to no experience who want to build a strong foundation while learning how to move confidently to the music.
Students will learn:
- Basic On2 timing and footwork
- Partnerwork fundamentals
- Lead and follow technique
- Body movement and musicality
- Simple turn patterns and social dancing etiquette
Whether your goal is to dance socially, improve coordination, or join the salsa community, this class will help you develop rhythm, confidence, and connection on the dance floor. No partner required — just bring your energy and willingness to learn!
Code of Conduct
1. ALL STAFF, ATTENDEES, EVERYONE ATTENDING MUST BE RESPECTFUL AND DISPLAY GOOD MANNERS AT ALL TIMES.
2. IF ANY PERSON DECIDES TO DRINK, PLEASE DO SO RESPONSIBLY.
ANYONE WHO STUMBLES, LOOKS DRUNK, ACTS DRUNK AND LOSES SPACIAL AWARENESS / DISPLAYS ANY DRUNK OR DISORDERLY BEHAVIOR, WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY. (NO REFUNDS)
3. CONSENT ON AND OFF THE DANCE FLOOR IS KEY. IF AT ANY POINT YOU FEEL UNSAFE OR UNCOMFORTABLE, PLEASE DO STOP THE DANCE AND TELL SOMEONE ON THE SAFETY TEAM ASAP.
4. NO HOMOPHOBIA, SEXISM, RACISM, AGEISM, BULLY BEHAVIOR WILL BE TOLERATED AT THIS SOCIAL.
5.DO NOT TOUCH ANYONE INAPPROPRIATELY OR MAKE INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS. YOU WILL BE BANNED AND ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES.
6. TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER IF YOU SEE SOMETHING UNUSUAL
